Valentine

Valentine is located on the north eastern shores of Lake Macquarie and is a popular boating and sailing spot. If catching a wave is more your thing there are many beaches to choose from which are located only a short drives away.

The area has 9 parks/ reserves one of the larges is Green Point Foreshore Reserve and is located at Cardiff Point on the lake foreshore between Belmont and Valentine, the park has spectacular view’s and picnic area facilities. A rainforest walkway links Belmont and Valentine's unique vegetation and wetlands area and all dogs, leashed or unleashed, are strictly prohibited. The area also has its own heater swimming pool and is only a 20min drive to the CBD of Newcastle.

Valentine is primarily occupied by couples with children, the area has 1 school and 3 childcare centres, the local shops are handy for any forgotten items you may need and with the shopping district of Belmont only down the road if you need just a little more, everything is close at hand.
